App Review: Cropulator

April 9, 2009

There are many photo apps to choose from on the app store. This makes deciding which one to spend your money on very difficult. Digital Film Tools has a few apps that can help you edit your photos to look really nice. Over the next few days we’ll be reviewing them, starting with Cropulator.

Cropulator is pretty simple. As it’s name suggests, the main feature of the app is to crop photos to your liking. You have the option to place a lock on the aspect ratio or change it to something else.

You can also rotate a picture to fix the horizontal or vertical axis. All you have to do is draw a line on what you want to be horizontal or vertical. It’s very easy to use. You can even rotate it maually if you wish. After rotating, the new image is automatically cropped.

There are times when the app fails to crop after a rotation, but theses times are few.

So, Cropulator is a pretty straightforward app for photo editing but it works great and is totally worth the price. 3.5/5
